With Prof. Hermann Simon of the University Mainz the two days of the convention are accompanied by a chairman for the first time. The dinner speech, given by the American scientist Paul A. L. Evans about "Human Resource Management - A Force for Progress or a Barrier?", is also a new thing. Finally, the essay competition for the international students was introduced by the organizers. Over 300 international students from more than 150 universities join in the WBD which by this way gains more and more importance in other countries.
