As soon as a student participant knows that he/she will be attending the 14th World Business Dialogue, the student should begin to research into whether he/she will require a passport, a visa, or both in order to attend the convention.

Citizens from the following countries do not need a visa in order to attend the 14th World Business Dialogue but you may need a passport: Argentina, Austria, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America.  For a full list of countries and if visas are required, please check the country list on the website of the Department for Foreign Affairs

If the student participant requires a visa to attend the 14th World Business Dialogue, he/she should contact his/her German embassy in order to receive necessary paperwork.  He/she must apply for his/her visa as soon as possible, because the process can take several weeks.  In addition, student participants requiring a visa need to contact the OFW.  There may be paperwork that is required from the OFW in order for the participant to apply.

Even if the student participant does not need a visa, he/she will probably need a passport in order to attend the country.  If student participant does not already have a valid passport, please research the requirements for his/her country and begin the process.  This process can take weeks, sometimes even months; in some countries and the sooner he/she start the process, the better.
