Are you creative, innovative, and excited about the 14th World Business Dialogue? Would you like the opportunity to express your enthusiasm for the convention while possibly having your travel expenses paid for?

If those two questions describe you, we have a great contest for you to participate in. We are all aware of the current financial crisis and we, at the OFW, want to help you get to the 14th World Business Dialogue. We have the opportunity to offer sponsorships to students to help cover travel costs.

The sponsorship application is the opportunity for students to show their creative side. If you are interested in applying for a sponsorship, you will need to submit an additional creation. This work can be another essay, video, song, blog, etc. Let your creativity and personality flow! The sponsorship material can be more about who you are, why you want to attend the 14th World Business Dialogue, or about your interests in and knowledge of the convention's topic. Be innovative! Be creative! Be exciting!

The sponsorship will cover the expenses for travelling from a major airport/train station to Cologne. In some instances, we will even take care of the travel arrangements for you. Both full and partial scholarships may be awarded.

For students that have not been granted sponsorship by the OfW e.V, we would like to remind you that there exist other possible solutions to gain funds. As such, we encourage you to look for your own sponsors by means of university faculties, companies, student foundations, etc. Upon acceptance to the 14th World Business Dialogue, every participating student will receive a confirmation letter that verifies his/her participation, which can then be used as proof alongside your official invitation to contact your potential sponsors.

It might also be useful to take note that if you currently have a scholarship, you may have the option to request financial aid to attend the 14th World Business Dialogue. Furthermore, many faculties appoint a budget for exceptional students to attend events like these.
